Our summer intern, high school sophomore, Ashana Cotton spent some time researching and learning about Haiti and the work of FLM. She produced this animation of two Haitian school children -- a brother and a sister -- to show the ways in which education serves to empower Haitian youth.

Ashana had the opportunity to interview Jamar Thrasher, writer, editor from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the founder of Kennedy Blue Communications, about his most recent trip to Haiti in 2018!
